Cavena S-DVD can read most subtitle file formats including the Cavena formats. The output of the S-DVD is a control file plus one bitmap file per subtitle. The resulting files are zipped and a single file can be sent to the Authoring system.
S-DVD can be manually operated or started using a command line interface. We have customers using this feature to produce the bitmaps required for playback in other formats.
